Hi, I am Amelia Jantzi, photographer, memory-maker, and celebrator of the ordinary.
When I picked up my camera in 2020, I couldn't stop shooting, but it was the birth of my oldest child that truly jump-started my artistry. I wanted - no, needed - to capture each of my son's moments, from the first wiggles of his toes to his first smiles to his first steps. Time moved far too fast, and photography was the way I could hold onto these moments forever. So I started doing the same thing for friends, and family, and now, for you!
I'm a big believer in making photography accessible to everyone. I know firsthand how powerful photography can be, and it's something I want everyone to have access to. This is why you'll find that I offer photography packages at several price points.
My favorite sessions are those where I create an atmosphere that feels like play, and I capture my clients at their truest, most authentic selves. While I love to experiment and push my skills as an artist, I always gravitate to true-to-color edits, with a hint of natural warmth. The New England scenery constantly inspires me, but I also love the vibes of a cozy home session. Finally, my family will always be my first and favorite muse, and I bring the same level of care to my clients' photos.
In my free time, I love exploring the outdoors - whether that's here in New England, or a little further afield. I also love a good bookstore or coffeeshop, and recently I've dived into film photography! While it's not something I'm ready to offer clients, it's something I hope to do in the future, so watch this space.
